Preview Roundups
December 10, 2017
Tulane at Florida State 12:00 PM ET
Florida State is one of eight unbeaten teams in Division I and will look to remain among that select company when it plays Tulane Sunday in Tampa, Fla. The Seminoles earned their seventh victory by 15 or more points Wednesday against Loyola Maryland and now must face a Green Wave squad that has already topped its win total from last season.
La Salle at Villanova 1:00 PM ET
With No. 1 Duke and No. 2 Kansas having lost this week, No. 4 Villanova has a chance to surge to the top of the polls. First, of course, the Wildcats must take care of business against Big 5 rival La Salle when they host the Explorers on Sunday afternoon.
Arizona State at Kansas 2:00 PM ET
No. 17 Arizona State is off to its best start since the 1974-75 season, and coach Bobby Hurley’s team can validate that early success when it visits second-ranked Kansas for a showdown on Sunday afternoon. The Sun Devils have knocked off Kansas State, Xavier and St. John’s en route to an 8-0 record and can match the 1974-75 squad’s 9-0 start with a victory over the Jayhawks, who are coming off a surprising setback against Washington on Wednesday.
Maryland - E. Shore at Virginia Tech 3:00 PM ET

The nation’s highest-scoring team takes on one of the country’s lowest-scoring squads when Virginia Tech hosts Maryland-Eastern Shore on Sunday. Buzz Williams’ red-hot Hokies are aiming for their seventh straight victory.

Southern at Iowa 5:00 PM ET
Iowa is showing plenty of the symptoms of a youthful team trying to find its way, and the result has led to eighth-year coach Fran McCaffery's squad being on the verge of its longest losing streak since his first season with the program. The Hawkeyes seek an end to a four-game slide Sunday when they host Southern in the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
NC-Wilmington at Louisiana State 5:00 PM ET

Two teams trying to find their stride under first-year coaches square off Sunday, when LSU hosts UNC Wilmington. Both squads are playing for the first time in December and beginning key stretches leading up to conference play.

Alcorn St. at Iowa State 6:00 PM ET
There was a time - less than a month ago, in fact - that panic was the order of the day for Iowa State, which failed to top 60 points in a pair of losses to begin the season with only Nick Weiler-Babb packing any hint of an offensive punch. Finding contributors hasn't been much of a problem since, and the surging Cyclones set their sights on a seventh consecutive victory Sunday when they host Alcorn State.
Indiana - Purdue at Purdue 7:00 PM ET

With five straight wins, No. 21 Purdue seems to have put a rough patch in the Bahamas behind it. The Boilermakers seek a 14th straight home victory when IUPUI visits on Sunday.

Gonzaga at Washington 8:00 PM ET

Gonzaga visits Washington on Sunday night in a matchup of in-state rivals coming off vastly different results in games against top-five teams. The 13th-ranked Bulldogs looked overwhelmed Tuesday night in an 88-72 Jimmy V Classic loss to No. 4 Villanova in New York, and a night later, the Huskies stunned No. 2 Kansas 74-65 in Kansas City, Mo., kno
