Preview Roundups
January 26, 2019
San Antonio at New Orleans 6:00 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs have dropped five of eight games since reaching a season-high seven games above .500 and attempt to regain their form when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday. The Spurs dropped a 122-120 decision to the host Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday despite shooting a stellar 57.3 percent from the field.
Indiana at Memphis 8:00 PM ET
The Indiana Pacers will try to press on without star guard Victor Oladipo when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. Oladipo, an All-Star for the first time last season and the team's current leader in points (18.8) and steals (1.7), was lost for the season due to a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee suffered during Wednesday's 110-106 win over Toronto.
Golden State at Boston 8:30 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors are the hottest team in the NBA at the moment and showed on Thursday that they don't need the 3-point shot to dominate a game. The Warriors will try to pull off their 10th consecutive victory when they continue a five-game road trip by visiting the surging Boston Celtics on Saturday.
Philadelphia at Denver 9:00 PM ET
The Philadelphia 76ers might be without two of their top players when they visit the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. Swingman Jimmy Butler could miss his third straight contest due to a wrist injury while All-Star center Joel Embiid will sit out to rest.
Atlanta at Portland 10:00 PM ET
The Portland Trail Blazers attempt to win for the 11th time in their past 14 games when they host the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday. The red-hot Trail Blazers are 30-20 for the franchise's best 50-game start since a 34-16 stretch to begin the 2014-15 campaign.
