Domingo Santana has followed an impressive May with a sterling start to June, carrying a seven-game hitting streak into the finale of the Milwaukee Brewers' four-game series against the visiting San Francisco Giants on Thursday afternoon. Santana homered for the third time in six contests and improved to 10-for-29 with eight runs scored this month following Wednesday's 6-3 victory.

The Arizona Diamondbacks attempt to complete their third consecutive three-game sweep at home when they host the San Diego Padres on Thursday afternoon. Lively fired seven innings of one-run, four-hit pitching in a victory over San Francisco on Saturday, and looks to give Philadelphia a series victory after the Braves beat the Phillies for the first time in six tries this season Wednesday, 14-1.
