St. Louis at Cincinnati 12:35 PM ET
The Cincinnati Reds go after their first four-game sweep of the season when they host the struggling St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday afternoon in a battle of National League Central rivals. The Reds appeared to be on their way to a loss Wednesday before scoring five times in the seventh inning - a rally keyed by Patrick Kivlehan’s three-run pinch-hit homer - en route to a 6-4 triumph.
LA Angels at Detroit 1:10 PM ET
Justin Upton has been heating up during the last half-dozen games and the Detroit Tigers have followed suit with wins in five of those contests. Upton homered in three of his last four outings and carries both a six-game hitting and RBI streak into the rubber match of a three-game series against the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday afternoon.
San Francisco at Milwaukee 2:10 PM ET
Domingo Santana has followed an impressive May with a sterling start to June, carrying a seven-game hitting streak into the finale of the Milwaukee Brewers' four-game series against the visiting San Francisco Giants on Thursday afternoon. Santana homered for the third time in six contests and improved to 10-for-29 with eight runs scored this month following Wednesday's 6-3 victory.
San Diego at Arizona 3:40 PM ET
The Arizona Diamondbacks attempt to complete their third consecutive three-game sweep at home when they host the San Diego Padres on Thursday afternoon. Arizona has won eight in a row at Chase Field, taking three straight from both the New York Mets and Chicago White Sox before capturing the first two contests against San Diego.
Boston at NY Yankees 7:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees guaranteed that they would finish the series in first place in the American League when they turned away the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday. The Yankees will try to take the rubber match and boost their lead to three games over their arch rivals when they host the Red Sox in the finale of the three-game series on Thursday.
Miami at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
Edinson Volquez tossed an emotional no-hitter in his last outing and will try to become the second pitcher in history to throw two in a row when he takes the mound for the Miami Marlins in the opener of a four-game series at the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday. Volquez is bidding to join Johnny Vander Meer in that exclusive consecutive no-hit club.
Baltimore at Washington 7:05 PM ET
The Battle of the Beltway meets for a one-game showdown when the Washington Nationals host the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday in the makeup of a game that was rained out on May 11. The Nationals are trying to earn a tie in the Beltway series after dropping two at Baltimore and winning the first at home before the second was postponed.
Chi. White Sox at Tampa Bay 7:10 PM ET
The Tampa Bay Rays have struggled to score runs of late but took advantage of a patchwork offense and a stellar major-league debut by Jacob Faria to even their three-game series with the visiting Chicago White Sox. Faria's presence afforded an extra day of rest for fellow right-hander Jake Odorizzi, who will look to help the Rays move to .500 with a win over the White Sox in the series finale on Thursday.
Philadelphia at Atlanta 7:35 PM ET
Ben Lively gave the struggling Philadelphia Phillies a huge boost in his major-league debut, and the right-hander looks to impress again in his second start Thursday when the Phillies conclude a four-game series at the Atlanta Braves. Lively fired seven innings of one-run, four-hit pitching in a victory over San Francisco on Saturday, and looks to give Philadelphia a series victory after the Braves beat the Phillies for the first time in six tries this season Wednesday, 14-1.
Colorado at Chi. Cubs 8:05 PM ET

The Colorado Rockies’ recent rough patch appears to be behind them, but they face a tough test when they begin a seven-game road trip with the opener of a four-game series against the defending World Series champion Chicago Cubs on Thursday. The Rockies enter with a four-game winning streak and hope to cool off the Cubs, who have captured five of six to begin their 10-game homestand following a six-game skid.

Houston at Kansas City 8:15 PM ET
The Houston Astros recently concluded a season-best 11-game winning streak and now are looking to avoid matching their worst skid when they conclude a four-game series against the host Kansas City Royals on Thursday. Houston dropped a 7-5 decision on Wednesday for its second straight loss after capturing the series opener.
Minnesota at Seattle 10:10 PM ET
The Seattle Mariners extended their winning streak to a season-high five games in dramatic fashion and strive to continue the success when they conclude their three-game home series against the Minnesota Twins on Thursday. Mike Zunino clubbed two homers on Wednesday, including a two-run blast with two outs in the ninth inning to account for a 6-5 victory.
