David Pastrnak had two goals and one assist, James van Riemsdyk added one goal and one assist and the Boston Bruins handily defeated the host Philadelphia Flyers 6-2 on Saturday.

Charlie McAvoy also contributed one goal and one assist, Danton Heinen and Charlie Coyle each scored and Pavel Zacha had two assists for the Bruins, who have won seven of eight.

Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark made 35 saves.

Tyson Foerster scored two goals for the Flyers, who have lost five straight.

Flyers goaltender Samuel Ersson allowed four goals and was replaced by Cal Petersen to open the second period. Carter Hart remains out for an indefinite time for personal reasons.

The Flyers got on the board at 15:23 of the second period when Foerster skated around Brandon Carlo and scored through Ullmark's legs to close within 5-1.

The Flyers received two power plays early in the third period but were unable to take advantage.

Scott Laughton interfered with Ullmark in the crease at 8:34 and it resulted in a two-man advantage for 27 seconds.

Foerster soon scored again at 11:24 to close within 5-2.

Coyle corralled a rebound and connected at 14:45 for a 6-2 advantage.

Noah Cates had a terrific scoring chance in front at 10:45 of the first period, but Ullmark made a solid save.

Boston's Brad Marchand skated in all alone at 12:56 but fired a wrist shot just wide.

The Bruins stayed aggressive and went ahead 1-0 at 14:09 of the first period when Pastrnak sent a shot through traffic and into the net.

McAvoy tapped the puck into a near-empty net at 15:46 for a 2-0 advantage. Then at 16:47, the Bruins took a 3-0 lead when Heinen redirected a shot in front. Carlo ripped the initial shot, which deflected off Philadelphia's Nick Seeler before reaching Heinen.

Pastrnak then notched his second goal of the game and 33rd of the season for a 4-0 lead at 18:23.

Pastrnak has eight goals in the past seven games.

Just 1:15 into the second period, van Riemsdyk connected for a 5-0 lead.

Travis Konecny came close to notching the Flyers' first goal at 6:01, but Ullmark made a sprawling save.
