David Booth and Christopher Higgins each had a goal and two assists, and Roberto Luongo made 21 saves in his first start since Nov. 13 as the host Vancouver Canucks continued their dominance of the Calgary Flames with a 5-1 victory on Sunday.

Daniel Sedin, Jannik Hansen and defenseman Kevin Bieksa also scored for the Canucks (15-10-1), who blew the game open with three goals in the first 5:42 of the third period and improved to 10-0-2 in their last 12 against the Flames.

Alex Tanguay scored and Henrik Karlsson had 27 stops for Calgary (11-13-2), which was 3-0-1 in its last four games. Karlsson left with an injury and was replaced by Miikka Kiprusoff at 6:49 of the third period.

Booth and Hansen scored 1:14 apart in the first two minutes of the third period before Sedin's power-play goal 3:48 later completed the scoring.

Tanguay gave Calgary a 1-0 lead with 1:26 to go in the first period when his tough-angle shot from the goal line found a sliver of room between the post and Luongo's right pad.

Vancouver took control with two goals in the second period. After Bieksa's power-play goal at 5:13 tied the game, Higgins put the Canucks ahead when he beat Karlsson with a backhander at 19:01.

Luongo saw his first action since suffering an undisclosed upper body injury Thursday when he relieved Cory Schneider and allowed three goals on 15 shots in the Canucks' 6-3 loss to Nashville.

Vancouver's Mason Raymond had an assist in his first game since suffering a vertebrae compression fracture in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
