Michael Qualls scored 14 points and Coty Clarke put up seven of his 11 in overtime as the visiting Razorbacks boosted their NCAA Tournament at-large resume by knocking off the Wildcats.

Rashad Madden added 12 points and Anthlon Bell scored 10 off the bench for Arkansas (19-9, 8-7 SEC), which swept the season series from Kentucky (21-7, 11-4). Kikko Haydar hit the clinching free throws with 18 seconds left in overtime – his only points of the game – for the Razorbacks.

Willie Cauley-Stein collected 16 points and matched a career best with 13 rebounds while Julius Randle had 14 and 10 for the Wildcats, who shot 34.2 percent from the field. Andrew Harrison scored 14 points and James Young chipped in 11 for Kentucky.

Arkansas knotted it at 60 when Madden knocked down both ends of a 1-and-1 with 29.3 seconds left in regulation and Harrison was blocked by Clarke in the paint on the other end to send it to overtime. The Razorbacks took the lead in the extra period on Clarke’s 3-pointer and Clarke knocked down four free throws to keep them in control.

Arkansas led by as much as nine points early in the second half and was still up 50-43 after Bell’s 3-pointer splashed through with just over 12 minutes left in regulation, but the Razorbacks would make only one field goal over the next 7:47 as Kentucky stormed back. The Wildcats led by as much as five points but could not score in the final minute.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Arkansas had not won at Kentucky since its 1994 National Championship season. … The Wildcats lost to the same opponent twice in one season for the first time in the five-year tenure of coach John Calipari. … The Razorbacks went 16-for-16 from the free-throw line while Kentucky struggled to 12-of-22 from the stripe.
