California 78, Pacific 58: The sensational backcourt combo of Allen Crabbe and Justin Cobbs combined for 44 points to lead the Golden Bears to the championship of the DirecTV Classic at Anaheim, Calif.

Crabbe rebounded from a bit of a bad-shooting night to lead the scoring with 24 points. Cobbs added 20 points and finished the three-game tournament with 58 points.

California moved to 6-0 for the first time since the 2007-08 season and outrebounded Pacific 38-26 in the contest.

Pacific, which earned a berth in the final by handing Saint Mary's its first loss of the season, was led by Ross Rivera with 13 points. Colin Beatty added 10.

California raced out to a 7-0 lead and was never challenged. The Golden Bears led 41-27 at the half and scored the game's final 10 points.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Georgia Tech beat Saint Mary's 65-56 in the consolation game. ...Either Crabbe or Cobbs have led the Bears in scoring every game this season. ...The Bears used eight players. Ricky Kreklow missed the entire tournament with a foot injury.
