Seton Hall 60, Rhode Island 55: Fuquan Edwin's layup with 37 seconds left capped a stunning rally as Seton Hall scored 14 of the contest's final 15 points to win its consolation game at the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Classic in Uncasville, Conn.

Gene Teague recorded team highs in both points (21) and rebounds (nine) and Edwin finished with 12 points for Seton Hall (3-1), which overcame a 54-46 deficit.

Kyle Smyth's 3-pointer highlighted the charge before Edwin's bucket gave the Pirates their first lead of the contest. Tom Maayan promptly stole the ball and converted two subsequent free throws before Edwin iced the contest by making his pair from the charity stripe.

Mike Powell drilled five 3-pointers and finished with 19 points for Rhode Island (0-4), which suffered double-digit setbacks in its three previous games.

Teague rebounded from a paltry one-point performance against Washington on Saturday to hit 7-of-11 from the field.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Seton Hall struggled from 3-point range, connecting on just 4-of-15 behind the arc. ... The Pirates went nearly 7 1/2 minutes without making a field goal in the second half. Brian Oliver's 3-pointer brought Seton Hall to within four at 41-37 with 13:09 remaining, but it didn't score from the field again until Patrik Auda's layup with 5:44 left. ... Seton Hall defeated Rhode Island for the seventh time in eight meetings.
