Texas 92, Oklahoma 86 (OT): Sophomore guard Myck Kabongo scored a career-high 31 points, including a jumper to force overtime, as the host Longhorns came back from 22 down to defeat the Sooners.

Sophomore guard Sheldon McClellan scored 18 points and grabbed eight boards for Texas (13-15, 5-10 Big 12). Freshman guard Demarcus Holland added 10 points.

Oklahoma (18-9, 9-6) received 31 points from senior forward Romero Osby and 18 from senior guard Steven Pledger, who hit 6 of 12 3-point attempts. Junior forward Amath M'Baye racked up 16 points.

After a first half in which the Sooners shot 71 percent, they led 43-28 at the break. But a 26-5 run helped the Longhorns overcome a 22-point deficit and set up the Kabongo jumper with one second left to tie it.

A Kabongo 3-pointer in the opening minute of overtime set the tone for a nine-point extra period for him as Texas completed its comeback.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Sooners have lost eight straight in Austin. … Pledger has scored in double figures in 16 of his last 20 games. … The game was Texas' fifth in overtime this season, tying a program record set in 2006-07. … The 22-point deficit is the largest the Longhorns have overcome under coach Rick Barnes.
