No. 1 Duke 84, Maryland 64: Rasheed Sulaimon hit six 3-pointers en route to a career-high 25 points and all five starters reached double figures as the Blue Devils bounced back against the Terrapins.

Mason Plumlee added 19 points and seven rebounds for Duke (17-2, 4-2 ACC), which suffered the third-worst loss ever for a No. 1 team in a 90-63 setback at Miami on Wednesday.

Dez Well recorded 13 points and eight rebounds and Charles Mitchell had 13 points off the bench as Maryland (15-5, 3-4) dropped its third straight road game in ACC play.

Sulaimon went 5-for-5 from 3-point range in the first half to help the Blue Devils take a 43-35 lead into the break. Duke steadily stretched it out in the second period, pushing the lead to 75-56 when Sulaimon drove for a layup with 5:41 to play.

The lead reached 20 points with 3:20 left when Quinn Cook missed a layup and Plumlee leaped for the offensive rebound and threw down a reverse dunk in one motion.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Blue Devils have taken six straight in the series and have yet to fall at home in 2012-13. … Maryland, which entered second in the nation in rebounding average, had a 42-31 advantage on the glass. … Duke shot 52.4 percent from the floor and committed four turnovers in the contest to help make up for a 7-of-17 performance at the free-throw line.
