Milton Jennings and Damarcus Harrison each scored 15 points as the host Tigers routed their intrastate foe.

Devin Booker contributed 11 points and seven rebounds and K.J. McDaniels added 10 points for Clemson (7-4), which handed out 22 assists.

Matthew Hezekiah scored 14 points off the bench to pace South Carolina State (4-9), which shot 31 percent from the floor and committed 17 turnovers, 13 of which came in the first half.

Clemson took control by going on a 28-7 run in the final 11:52 of the first half to carry a 36-18 advantage into the break. The Tigers widened the gap to 59-29 on a slam dunk by Jennings with 11:48 remaining.

Clemson coach Brad Brownell emptied the bench, and all 11 Tigers who played scored.

GAME NOTEBOOK: South Carolina State suffered its sixth consecutive loss and fell to 1-11 all time against Clemson. ... Brownell has never lost to a team from the MEAC in seven meetings. ... Khalif Toombs, the Bulldogs' leading scorer, went scoreless on 0-for-7 shooting.
