No. 16 Minnesota 75, Lafayette 50: Sophomore guard Joe Coleman scored 12 points to extend the host Golden Gophers' win streak to eight games.

Oto Osenieks came off the bench to add 10 points for Minnesota. Rodney Williams shot 4-for-6 from the field and finished with eight points.

Lafayette (5-9) led early before the Golden Gophers fired off a 24-7 first-half run, followed by a 9-2 run to close out the half. By the break, Minnesota (12-1) was ahead 37-22.

Three starters scored in double figures for the Leopards. Sophomore forward Dan Trist led all scorers with 14. Sophomore guards Seth Hinrichs and Joey Ptasinski finished with 11 and 10, respectively.

The Golden Gophers outrebounded the Leopards, 40-22.
