Jarnell Stokes' 18 points led five Volunteers in double figures as the Volunteers ran away from the visiting Blue Hose.

Stokes went 6-of-9 from the floor and had seven rebounds. Trae Golden added 16 points, eight assists and no turnovers and Jordan McRae and Skylar McBee each had 12 points for Tennessee (6-3).

Khalid Mutakabbir led the Blue Hose (2-9) with 18 points. Jordan Downing, who went 4-of-5 from 3-point range, and Ryan McTavish each had 14 points.

The Volunteers used a 23-3 run to open an early lead and then outscored the Blue Hose 8-0 in the final three minutes for a 43-13 halftime lead.

The Blue Hose hit 7 of 10 3-pointers in the second half, including a pair from Downing to get within 69-51 with 6:28 left, but never threatened.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Presbyterian's 13 first-half points was the fewest allowed by Tennessee since Feb. 4, 1998. ... Tennessee outrebounded the Blue Hose, one of the nation's worst rebounding teams, 40-19, 11-2 offensively. ... The Tennessee bench, which accounted for 14 points, outscored the opposing bench for the eighth straight game.
