Clemson 80, Florida A&M 57: Freshman Jordan Roper led four players in double figures with 16 points as the host Tigers cruised past the Rattlers.

Adonis Filer added 14 points off the bench for Clemson (6-3), which led 41-31 at halftime before breaking open the game. The Tigers scored the first nine points of the second half, part of an 18-4 run that gave Clemson a 59-35 advantage on Roper’s jumper with 13:52 remaining.

Roper finished 4-for-5 from 3-point range while Devin Booker scored 12 points and K.J. McDaniels added 11 for the Tigers. Milton Jennings pulled down 11 rebounds.

Clemson, which shot 52.6 percent from the field and outrebounded the Rattlers 47-31, has held seven of its nine opponents under 60 points.

Reggie Lewis led Florida A&M (4-7) with 26 points, shooting 6-for-8 from 3-point range. Markee Teal added 12 points.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Roper scored eight points during the 18-4 surge. … Lewis’ 3-pointer with 6:22 left in the first half brought the Rattlers within 26-23, but the Tigers scored 13 of the next 17 points. … Rod Hall finished with 10 assists for the Tigers.
