Georgia Tech 52, Presbyterian 38: Marcus Georges-Hunt and Robert Carter each scored 10 points as the host Yellow Jackets used an 18-0 second-half run to pull away.

Trailing 27-24 early in the second half, Georgia Tech (2-0) scored the game’s next 18 points, building a 42-27 advantage on Chris Bolden’s dunk with 11:44 remaining. The Yellow Jackets won despite shooting just 33.3 percent from the field.

Khalid Mutakabbir scored 13 points to lead the Blue Hose (0-2). Presbyterian trailed 7-0 five minutes into the game, but chipped away and grabbed a 17-16 advantage on Mutakabbir’s 3-pointer with 5:03 left in the half.

The Yellow Jackets struggled from 3-point range, finishing 3-for-20. Georgia Tech went scoreless for a 5:22 stretch of the second half. Daniel Miller scored seven points with nine rebounds for the Yellow Jackets.

Jordan Downing added nine points for Presbyterian.
