Clemson 77, Presbyterian 44: Milton Jennings compiled 15 points and six rebounds and fellow senior Devin Booker added 11 points and five boards as the Tigers beat the visiting Blue Hose for the seventh consecutive time.

Freshman Jordan Roper added 11 points off the bench for Clemson, which won its 28th straight season opener and has started the season with a loss only once in the past 41 years.

Joshua Clyburn had 19 points and nine rebounds to lead the Blue Hose (0-1), who shot 30.2 percent from the field. Ryan McTavish added 11 points off the bench for Presbyterian.

Presbyterian's top returning scorer, Khalid Mutakabbir, was held to three points on 1-of-9 shooting.

The Tigers scored the game's first seven points and never trailed. They broke it open with a 15-1 run for a 27-7 advantage and led 38-21 at halftime.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Booker surpassed 500 career rebounds. He ranks fourth among active ACC players. … Presbyterian used only six players until the final four minutes, and only five Blue Hose players scored, while 10 of 12 Clemson players scored.
