J.P. Primm led the way with 20 points and five assists as North Carolina-Asheville dominated the second half en route to an 87-65 victory over Utah on Saturday in the seventh place game at the Battle 4 Atlantis in Nassau, Bahamas.

Matt Dickey scored 15 points, and Chris Stephenson and Jeremy Atkinson added 14 apiece for the Bulldogs (3-4), who shot 54 percent (15-of-28) in the second half.

UNC Asheville had fallen to Connecticut and College of Charleston on the first two days of the tournament.

The Utes pulled to within 53-48 early in the second half but watched the Bulldogs pull away over the next seven minutes. Dickey scored 11 points during a 20-3 burst, bringing the lead to 73-51 with 8:30 left. Utah would score on its next five possessions but never got back in the game.

Jason Washburn and Josh Watkins scored 21 points apiece for the Utes (1-5), who have yet to beat a Division I opponent. They earned their lone win over Division II San Diego Christian in their opener Nov. 14.
