Chaz Williams collected 16 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals as visiting Massachusetts rolled over Boston College 82-46 on Monday.

Freddie Riley added 14 points and Raphiael Putney grabbed nine rebounds for the Minutemen (4-0), who have won 10 straight November games.

The Eagles (1-2) start five freshman and are in a complete rebuilding mode after losing 10 players from the 2010-11 squad. After spending the last several years beating up on its in-state rivals, Boston College has dropped back-to-back games to local schools after losing at Holy Cross last week.

The Eagles went scoreless for more than six minutes in the second half, allowing UMass to stretch a 46-35 advantage into a 54-35 edge with less than 12 minutes left.

Seven points from Riley and five from Williams during a 14-0 burst made it 71-42 with 5:16 to play and the Minutemen cruised to the finish.

Patrick Heckmann scored 11 points to lead Boston College, which committed 22 turnovers.
