Andre Roberson had 12 points and 10 rebounds as host Colorado never trailed en route to a 69-54 victory over undermanned Arizona State Thursday.

Freshman guard Spencer Dinwiddie added 12 points and six rebounds for the Buffaloes (12-6, 4-2 in the Pac-12), who snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 4-0 at home in conference play.

Freshman reserve guard Askia Booker had 11 points as Colorado improved to 7-0 when a bench player scores 10 or more.

Chris Colvin registered a career-high 15 points for the Sun Devils (6-12, 2-4), who played without leading scorer Trent Lockett. The junior guard injured his ankle Saturday against Oregon State.

The 6-foot-7 Roberson brought the crowd to its feet when he dunked over 7-foot-2 Jordan Bachynski to give the Buffaloes a 54-38 lead with 7:07 remaining.

Roberson entered the game tied for fourth in the nation averaging 11.4 rebounds and recorded his 11th double-double of the season.

The Buffaloes shot 50 percent from the field in the first half and were ahead by as many as 19 before settling for a 31-15 lead at the break. Nate Tomlinson scored all eight of his points on 3-for-3 shooting.

Colorado’s pressure defense and transition game – coupled with its depth – never allowed Arizona State to get into the game as the Wildcats could only get as close as 14 points in the second half.

Sun Devils coach Herb Sendek was ejected with 4:12 to go after receiving two technical fouls.
