Andre Dawkins came off the bench to score 24 points as No. 6 Duke defeated Clemson, 73-66 at Littlejohn Coliseum.

Duke (15-2, 3-0 ACC) started the second half on a 12-2 spurt to build a 46-33 lead. The Tigers cut the deficit to four points on two occasions late, including at 68-64 on a 3-pointer by Andre Young with a minute left. But Young, who passed Shawan Robinson for fourth place on the school's all-time list for 3-pointers, missed another three that could have made it a two-point game with 16 seconds left.

The Blue Devils won for the fourth consecutive time in the series and held Clemson to 38 percent shooting from the field and 4-of-17 from beyond the arc.

The Tigers (9-8, 1-2 ACC) led for much of the first half and built an 18-9 cushion on a jumper by Milton Jennings, who led the hosts with 16 points. But the visiting Blue Devils scored 18 of the next 22 points, grabbing the lead for good on a three-point play by Mason Plumlee and going up 27-22 when Seth Curry and Dawkins knocked down consecutive 3-pointers. Dawkins, who had 10 points in the opening half, hit another three to help give Duke a 32-28 halftime lead.
