Lewis Jackson scored 16 of his game-high 20 points in the second half as visiting Purdue rolled to a 79-66 Big Ten win over Minnesota.

Coming off a scoreless performance in Thursday's 20-point loss at Penn State, Jackson scored 10 of Purdue's first 12 points in the second half. The Boilermakers (13-4, 3-1 Big Ten) built a 47-32 halftime advantage on the strength of 10-of-12 shooting from 3-point range.

D.J. Byrd came off the bench to add a career-high 18 points, hitting all five of his 3-point tries. Robbie Hummel chipped in 13 points and seven rebounds for Purdue.

Minnesota (12-5, 0-4 Big Ten) dropped its fourth straight league game and second in a row at home. The Golden Gophers were led by junior forward Rodney Williams, who had career highs of 19 points and 14 rebounds. Freshman guard Joe Coleman added a career-high 14 points for Minnesota.
