No. 11 Wisconsin improved to 5-0 for the first time in four seasons, using an early 13-2 run to pull away from Bradley 66-43 in the Chicago Invitational Challenge on Friday.

Ahead 9-7 five minutes in, Wisconsin scored 13 of the next 15 points during a six-minute span. All-American Jordan Taylor scored five points during the run, and Jared Berggren’s dunk with 9:37 left gave the Badgers a 22-9 lead.

The Badgers are 5-0 for the second time in Bo Ryan’s 11 seasons as coach. The victory was Ryan’s 247th at Wisconsin, moving him past Walter Meanwell into second place in school history and 18 behind Bud Foster’s school record of 265.

The Braves (3-2) cut the deficit to 35-26 in the early seconds of the second half, but Wisconsin scored the next eight points to put it away.

Taylor, Ryan Evans and Josh Gasser scored 15 points apiece to pace Wisconsin, combining to shoot 6-for-10 from 3-point range. Berggren recorded a career-best 10 rebounds.

Taylor Brown’s 18 points led Bradley.

The Badgers play BYU (4-1), a 76-55 winner over Nevada, on Saturday. Wisconsin travels Wednesday to top-ranked North Carolina in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
