Jeremy Lamb led the way with 23 points and six rebounds Thursday as No. 4 Connecticut cruised past North Carolina-Asheville 73-63 at the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in Nassau, Bahamas.

Shabazz Napier added 23 points and eight assists for the Huskies (5-0), who will play Central Florida in the semifinals Friday.

Connecticut made its move early against the Bulldogs (2-3), jumping out to a 16-3 lead in the first four minutes and pushing it out to 29-15 when Lamb converted a layup with just over seven minutes left in the first half.

Napier scored the final five points of the opening period, draining a 3-pointer just in front of the buzzer to send the Huskies into the locker room up, 39-28.

UNC Asheville would briefly cut it to single digits early in the second half but Connecticut pulled away. Napier hit a 25-foot 3-pointer with 2:51 left and was fouled, pushing the lead to 70-56, and putting the game away.

Matt Dickey scored 18 points for the Bulldogs, who will face the College of Charleston on Friday.
