Jared Cunningham led five players in double figures with 17 points and Oregon State beat visiting West Alabama 93-60 on Monday in the opening game of the TicketCity Legends Classic.

Angus Brandt tied his career-high with 13 points as Oregon State (2-0) jumped to a 25-8 lead and never trailed against the Division II Tigers (1-2) from the Gulf South Conference.

Oregon State, which switched from zone defense to man-to-man this season, has 27 steals and 48 forced turnovers in its first two games.

Jared Woolfolk had 16 points and Allen McGaha and Drew Faile added 11 apiece for West Alabama, which shot only 22-of-57 (38.6 percent) from the field.

The Beavers were on pace to score more than 100 points for the first time since 2007, but went scoreless for nearly four minutes late in the second half.

Joe Burton and Devon Collier scored 14 points apiece, and Ahmad Starks added 10 for Oregon State, which shot 21-of-33 (64 percent) in the first half.
