Twins Marcus Morris and Markieff Morris scored 20 points apiece, Tyrel Reed and Tyshawn Taylor added 15 each and top-seeded Kansas overcame Colorado's hot start to pull away for a 90-83 victory Friday night in Kansas City Mo., a win that puts the Jayhawks in line for their fifth Big 12 tournament title in six years.

The Buffaloes (21-13) made eight of their first 11 field-goal attempts in building a 22-10 lead, but they couldn't hold the Jayhawks and, more specifically, the Morris twins at bay for long.

The Jayhawks (31-2) reeled off a 19-4 run to regain the lead and pushed the margin to 43-37 by halftime. Marcus Morris had 13 rebounds for his third consecutive double-double and Markieff Morris grabbed eight boards.

Kansas pushed the margin as wide as 18 points in the second half before the Buffaloes rallied to get within six. The Jayhawks hit eight consecutive free throws down the stretch to seal it. Kansas was 29 for 33 from the free-throw line.

Alec Burks had 23 points and six assists to lead Colorado, and Levi Knutson added 17 off the bench, hitting 5 of 7 from 3-point range.

Kansas will play Texas in the Big 12 tournament championship game. The Jayhawks are 7-1 all-time in the title game, with the only loss coming against Oklahoma in 2002.
