David Loubeau and B.J. Holmes scored 20 points apiece as Texas A&M advanced to the semifinals of the Big 12 tournament for the third time in four years with an 86-71 victory over Missouri on Thursday in Kansas City, Mo.

Texas A&M (24-7), the third seed, will face No. 2 seed Texas on Friday in the semifinals. No team from Texas has ever won the Big 12 tournament title.

Loubeau dominated in the post and Holmes was hot from the outside - 4 of 6 from 3-point range - to lead the Aggies' efficient offense. Texas A&M shot 57.8 percent from the field, including 8 of 16 from 3-point range.

The Aggies led 46-33 at halftime after repeatedly finding soft spots in Missouri's post defense as Loubeau scored 16 of his 20 on 6-of-7 shooting.

Missouri (23-10) missed 17 of its first 19 field goal attempts and finished the first half 8 for 28 from the field. The Tigers stayed ice cold to start the second half as they went 5:59 without a field goal and saw their deficit grow to 20 points.

Nathan Walkup added 16 points and six rebounds for Texas A&M.

Marcus Denmon scored 22 points and Laurence Bowers added 13 for Missouri.
