Nebraska slowed down Missouri’s up-tempo attack and knocked off the 24th-ranked Tigers, 69-58, Tuesday in Lincoln, Neb.

The Cornhuskers (19-10, 7-8 Big 12) snapped a two-game slide by forcing 17 Missouri turnovers and holding the Tigers (22-8, 8-7) 24 points below their average.

Senior guard Lance Jeter had a big night in his final home game, scoring 16 points with seven assists and seven rebounds for the Huskers, who still need a strong showing in the Big 12 Tournament to have a shot at earning an at-large berth in the NCAA field of 68.

The Tigers dropped their second straight and fell to 2-8 on the road, but appear to be safely in the NCAA Tournament. Marcus Demon led Missouri with 19 points.

The Tigers host No. 2 Kansas on Saturday to end the season. Nebraska wraps up its final regular season in the Big 12 at Colorado on Saturday. The Cornhuskers join the Big Ten next season.
