Josh Owens scored a career-high 31 points and visiting Stanford snapped a four-game losing streak with an 88-71 win over Oregon on Saturday.

Owens added 11 rebounds for his sixth double-double this season, and Stanford shot a season-high 59.3 percent (32 of 54) from the field. Jeremy Green scored 15 points and Anthony Brown added 12 for Stanford (14-14, 7-10 Pac-10), which led 43-34 at halftime.

Malcolm Armstead scored 22 points to pace the Ducks (14-14, 7-9), who lost their second straight. Jay-R Strowbridge had 16 points and Johnathan Loyd added 11. Leading scorer Joevan Catron was held to eight points on 3-of-11 shooting in his final regular-season home game.

Stanford extended its lead to 18 on Dwight Powell’s basket with 12:03 remaining, and Oregon trailed by double figures the rest of the way. Powell recorded his second double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Stanford, which made a season-high field goals and outrebounded Oregon 35-18, improved to 6-20 on the road in Pac-10 play over the last two years.
