Lance Jeter scored 16 points as Nebraska snapped a three-game Big 12 Conference losing streak Saturday with a 65-54 win over Oklahoma State.

Nebraska (16-8, 4-6 Big 12) had nine players score in the game and played tough defense, holding the Cowboys to 36-percent shooting from the field.

Nebraska took a six-point lead into halftime and expanded the advantage to double digits midway through the second half.

A Brandon Richardson layup put Nebraska ahead 60-45 with 7:37 left in the game. Oklahoma State (16-8, 4-6 Big 12) pulled to within nine on a jumper by Keiton Page with about two minutes remaining, but got no closer.

Oklahoma State played without suspended forward Darrell Williams, who was arraigned in an Oklahoma court Monday on rape charges. Nebraska dominated the Cowboys’ depleted front court, holding a 35-26 rebounding advantage.

Oklahoma State’s Marshall Moses scored 18 points to lead the Cowboys, who had their two-game winning streak snapped and face a tough contest at No. 3 Texas on Wednesday.
