Anthony Jones hit a layup off an offensive rebound with 3.1 seconds to go in overtime to lift Baylor to a 76-74 victory over No. 16 Texas A&M on Saturday afternoon in College Station, Texas.

Perry Jones III, who led all scorers with a career-high 27 points, was fouled on a putback and finished off a three-point play with 1:13 remaining in overtime to put the Bears (15-7, 5-4 Big 12) in front, 74-73. Texas A&M drew even on a B.J. Holmes free throw seven seconds later, and each side had a fruitless possession before Anthony Jones followed up a missed jumper by LaceDarius Dunn for the decisive bucket. A.J. Walton came up with a steal to prevent the Aggies from getting off a final shot.

Texas A&M (17-5, 4-4) trailed 63-52 with 10:45 left in regulation before creeping back, eventually tying the game at 69-69 on a 3-pointer by Nathan Walkup with 48 seconds to go.

Dunn finished with 17 points for Baylor. Holmes paced the Aggies with 19 points, while Khris Middleton added 18 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
