Sam Muldrow scored 20 points, five in overtime, including a clinching 3-pointer late in the extra session, as South Carolina rallied for an 81-74 win over Arkansas in a Southeastern Conference game in Columbia, S.C. on Wednesday night.

South Carolina (12-5, 3-1 SEC), coming off an emotional win last Saturday at Florida, rallied from an eight-point second half deficit to stun Arkansas (12-5, 2-2), which failed to make a field goal the final 4:23 of regulation and the first 3:36 of overtime.

Muldrow’s 3-pointer extended the Gamecocks’ lead to 76-70 and Bruce Ellington made three free throws in the final 39 seconds to seal the victory. Muldrow had a dominating performance as he also grabbed nine rebounds and blocked seven shots. Ramon Galloway also scored 19 for the Gamecocks while Ellington added 13.

Arkansas shot 60 percent after halftime and led most of the second half, but the Razorbacks missed their final three shots in regulation and their first three in overtime and never recovered. Marshawn Powell led Arkansas with a game-high 21 points while Delvon Johnson added 16 and nine rebounds.
