Jared Cunningham scored 24 points and Oregon State snapped a three-game losing streak Saturday with an 80-76 win over visiting USC.

Omari Johnson recorded his third double-double this season with 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Lathen Wallace scored 12 points for the Beavers (8-9, 3-3 Pac-10), who led by 10 at halftime. Calvin Haynes went 5 of 5 from the field and finished with 11 points.

Nikola Vucevic scored 26 points on 12-of-18 shooting and grabbed a team-high 14 rebounds to pace USC (10-8, 2-3), which fell to 4-17 in its last 20 Pac-10 road games. Jio Fontan scored 14 points and Maurice Jones added 10 for the Trojans.

USC, which lost both games to Oregon State last season, trailed by 16 early in the second half. The Trojans closed to within four on Fontan’s layup with 39 seconds remaining, but Oregon State closed out the Trojans at the free-throw line, making five of eight down the stretch.

Oregon State shot 24 of 43 (56 percent) from the field and had a decided advantage at the free-throw line, where the Beavers made 27 of 39 (69 percent), while USC was just 7 of 13 (54 percent).
