The Petersen Events Center has been one of the toughest places to visit in college basketball, especially for outsiders to the Big East. Saturday proved more of the same, as J.J. Moore scored a game-high 19 off the bench and fourth-ranked Pittsburgh rolled past North Florida, 95-49, for its 50th straight non-conference victory at home.

Moore's three-point play gave the Panthers a 48-21 halftime cushion, and Pitt kept its foot on the pedal to hit the mid-90s for the second straight game. Brad Wanamaker added 17 points in the win.

It capped a busy week for the Panthers, who opened with an 83-75 win over Rhode Island on Monday followed by a 97-54 victory over Illinois-Chicago on Wednesday, both coming at home.

The competition bumps up for Pitt this week, when it resumes the 2K Sports Classic on Thursday against Maryland in New York – though the Panthers have made Madison Square Garden a home away from home with their consistent success there in the Big East Tournament.

It didn't help that the Ospreys, who were led by Andres Diaz's 14 points, had flown to Pittsburgh after their season-opening 75-55 loss at Florida State the previous night.
