Joe Ingles scored 19 points while Rudy Gobert added 15 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks to lead the visiting Utah Jazz to a 96-88 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.

Derrick Favors and Donovan Mitchell chipped in 12 points apiece, and Favors added eight rebounds to help Utah notch its third straight win. The Jazz also beat Memphis for the first time this season after losing twice at home to the Grizzlies.

Mike Conley scored 24 points, and Marc Gasol added 16 to lead Memphis. The Grizzlies held Utah to just 39 percent shooting, but could not overcome their own 4-of-24 outing from the perimeter.

Utah imposed its will on both ends of the court out of the gate and opened up a 13-2 lead midway through the first quarter. Ingles and Favors combined for five baskets to give Utah the early lift. But that lead evaporated just as quickly as the Jazz built it.

Memphis answered with a 14-3 run to tie it at 16-16 late in the first quarter. Starting with a layup from Garrett Temple, the Grizzlies scored on six straight possessions to turn it into a one-possession game. Shelvin Mack then followed with a jumper for the tying basket.

Memphis did not take the lead, however, until Kyle Anderson punctuated a 9-2 run with back-to-back baskets to put the Grizzlies up 35-31 in the second quarter.

Utah struggled to get back in front before halftime because the Jazz could not crack the Grizzlies' defense. They shot just 36 percent from the floor during the first two quarters -- including 4-of-17 from 3-point range.

In the third quarter, the Jazz finally regained a spark on offense. Dante Exum scored back-to-back baskets to spark a 21-7 run that extended into the fourth quarter. Alec Burks capped it off with a 3-pointer that gave Utah a 77-69 lead early in the fourth.

Memphis was still within striking distance when Mack cut the Jazz lead to five on a jumper with 2:21 left. Utah put it out of reach when Ingles fed Gobert for an alley-oop dunk and then hit a 3-pointer with 45.4 seconds left to give the Jazz a 94-84 lead.
