The Wizards, who shot 4-for-22 in the third, made a push to get within 10 points before Bosh had five straight Miami points and James scored inside to rebuild the lead to 16 with under five minutes left, enough to withstand another Washington push in the final two minutes.

The Wizards took an early 9-2 lead on a Beal 3-pointer before Miami scored the game's next nine points and never trailed again. James had a dunk during an 18-5 burst in the second quarter that led to a 61-48 halftime advantage.
