Kings 125, Magic 101: John Salmons scored 21 points and Marcus Thornton added 20 points and eight rebounds in a reserve role as visiting Sacramento snapped a season-high six-game losing streak with a blowout of Orlando.
Tyreke Evans contributed 17 points and seven assists and DeMarcus Cousins, Patrick Patterson and Jimmer Fredette each scored 13 for the Kings, who also ended a season-high nine-game road skid and swept the season series.
Tobias Harris scored 23 points and Arron Afflalo added 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists for the Magic, who were denied in their bid to win consecutive games for the first time since winning four straight from Dec. 14-19. Orlando has lost 18 of 20.
The Kings heated up toward the end of the first quarter and reeled off an 18-5 run to finish the period with a 36-22 advantage. They extended the margin to 67-44 at halftime and never looked back.
Sacramento enjoyed a 56-44 edge in points in the paint and shot 54.8 percent overall, including 10-for-22 from 3-point range.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Kings improved to 6-7 in the second game of back-to-back sets. … Orlando was 6-for-19 from 3-point range, snapping a string of four straight opponents with at least 10 3-pointers against Sacramento. … Orlando rookie SF Moe Harkless scored 12 points, his season-best sixth consecutive game in double figures.
