Thaddeus Young scored a season-high 23 points and fellow reserve Lou Williams added 19 as the Philadelphia 76ers snapped a five-game losing streak by defeating the visiting Milwaukee Bucks 90-79 on Friday.
Marreese Speights grabbed 10 rebounds as Philadelphia (3-10) won for the first time since defeating the New York Knicks on Nov. 7.
Corey Maggette led Milwaukee (5-7) with 20 points and Drew Gooden added 16.
The Bucks shot just 33.8 percent from the field and missed all 12 of their 3-point shot attempts. The 79 points matches Milwaukee’s second-lowest scoring output of the season.
Philadelphia held the Bucks to 20 points or less in three of the four quarters.
Andres Nocioni with 12 points and Jrue Holiday with 10 were the only Philadelphia starters to score in double figures. The 76ers shot just 40.5 percent.
Milwaukee’s Brandon Jennings had just 12 points on 3-for-13 shooting and Andrew Bogut had just four points.
