Rays 4, Blue Jays 1: Tampa Bay matched a franchise record as James Loney, Wil Myers and Sam Fuld belted consecutive home runs in the second inning and Jeremy Hellickson worked seven masterful frames as the Rays prevented visiting Toronto from recording a club-record 12th straight victory.

Loney opened the scoring with a one-out solo blast and Myers launched a 1-2 pitch to center field for his second major-league homer and first at Tropicana Field. Fuld followed with a shot to right off Esmil Rogers (3-3), giving Tampa Bay a 3-0 lead.

It was more than enough support for Hellickson (6-3), who allowed only a second-inning single by J.P. Arencibia while walking four and striking out four en route to his fifth win in six decisions. Fernando Rodney struck out two in a scoreless ninth for his 16th save in 21 opportunities.

Luke Scott added an RBI double in the third for the Rays, who have won four of six.

Rogers lasted six innings, allowing four runs and seven hits in just his fifth start of the season. Jose Bautista drove in the lone run for the Blue Jays, who lost for the first time since June 10 at the Chicago White Sox.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Rays also hit three straight homers on June 9, 2008, when Evan Longoria, Willy Aybar and Dioner Navarro accomplished the feat on the road against the Angels. ... Toronto dropped to 12-5 this month, with four of the losses coming on the road. ... Myers finished 2-for-4 and has hit safely in seven straight games after going 0-for-4 in his major-league debut on June 18 at Boston.
