Giants 2, Dodgers 1:
Buster Posey hit a walk-off homer off Ronald Belisario to lead off the ninth inning and host San Francisco extended its winning streak to four games.

After Los Angeles squandered multiple scoring opportunities throughout the game, Posey blasted a 3-2 pitch from Belisario (2-3) into the left field seats for his first career walk-off hit. Sergio Romo (2-2) earned the win after holding the Dodgers scoreless in the ninth.

The Dodgers, who were outhit 11-4 and left 13 runners on base, scored in the fifth when Clayton Kershaw doubled off Barry Zito and scored on Nick Punto’s single to left field. Zito exited after giving up one run and walking a season-high four batters over five innings.

The Giants answered in the sixth when Marco Scutaro broke up Kershaw’s no-hit bid with a one-out triple and scored on Posey’s double. Hunter Pence followed with a single to center, but Posey was thrown out at the plate on a perfect throw from center fielder Matt Kemp.

Kershaw, who was making his first start since the death of his father earlier this week, retired the first nine batters in order before Angel Pagan walked to lead off the fourth. Kershaw allowed one run on three hits over seven innings.
