Marlins 6, Cubs 2: Donovan Solano and Christian Yelich each had three hits and two RBIs and Miami's bullpen worked 4 2/3 hitless innings as the visiting Marlins beat Chicago for the second straight game.

Giancarlo Stanton and Justin Ruggiano also drove in runs for the Marlins, who have won three straight - all on the road - for their longest road winning streak since June. The Cubs have dropped 19 of their last 24 at home.

Cubs starter Edwin Jackson (7-15) got through four innings unscathed but ran into trouble in the fifth when the Marlins got to him for three runs. Jackson allowed three runs on seven hits over five innings, losing his fourth straight decision.

Marlins right-hander Tom Koehler also hit a wall in the fifth, allowing a solo homer to Brian Bogusevic and walking the bases loaded before getting an early hook. Koehler was charged with two runs on four hits in 4 1/3 innings.

Dan Jennings worked out of the jam in the fifth, Ryan Webb (2-5) worked two perfect innings and Mike Dunn and A.J. Ramos each pitched a scoreless frame out of the bullpen to finish off the four-hitter.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Miami's Chris Coghlan made his first career start at third base and handled three chances without a miscue. … Jackson fell to 1-7 all-time against Miami. … Yelich recorded his fifth multi-hit game in his last seven contests. He is 13-for-27 over that span.
