Diamondbacks 5, Dodgers 3: Aaron Hill had three hits and ignited a five-run sixth inning with an RBI single as host Arizona snapped a six-game losing streak.

Justin Upton had a two-run triple in the decisive rally as the Diamondbacks knocked out Clayton Kershaw and halted the Dodgers' three-game winning streak.

Josh Collmenter (1-2) allowed two runs on six hits in six innings to pick up his first win since Sept. 25, 2011. Three relievers bridged the gap to J.J. Putz, who registered his 15th save despite giving up two hits in the ninth.

Kershaw (6-5) was charged with five runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings and fell to 7-3 lifetime against Arizona. The reigning NL Cy Young Award winner had won seven of his last eight starts against the Diamondbacks.

Adam Kennedy homered and Bobby Abreu had three hits and an RBI double for Los Angeles, which failed to score after loading the bases with no outs in the seventh and putting runners at the corners with no outs in the eight.

Arizona left fielder Jason Kubel had an RBI double and threw out Mark Ellis at the plate to complete an inning-ending double play in the seventh.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Dodgers SS Dee Gordon underwent surgery to repair his a torn thumb ligament. He is expected to be out six weeks. ... Upton was 1-for-22 (.045) lifetime against Kershaw before delivering his two-run triple in the sixth inning. Kubel's run-scoring double was his 59th RBI of the season, surpassing his total from last year. ... Dodgers CF Matt Kemp (hamstring) will continue his rehab assignment at Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday and Sunday. He is scheduled to rejoin the team next Friday. Teammate Andre Ethier (strained left oblique) will begin a rehab assignment at Class A Rancho Cucamonga on Wednesday and Thursday.
