Dodgers 6, Diamondbacks 1: Matt Treanor, Andre Ethier and James Loney hit home runs, and Chris Capuano pitched six strong innings for Los Angeles, which moved a major league-best 16 games above .500.
Treanor staked the Dodgers to a 2-0 lead with a blast to left in the second inning against rookie Patrick Corbin (2-3), who allowed just the two runs over 5 1/3 innings.
The Dodgers broke it open against the Arizona bullpen, as Ethier connected for his ninth homer in the seventh against Craig Breslow and Loney went deep in a three-run eighth against Bryan Shaw.
Capuano (6-1) struck out five and gave up one run on four hits. He has won five of his last six starts. Three Dodgers relievers combined for three scoreless innings of relief.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Treanor's home run was his first with the Dodgers and his first since June 18, 2011, for Kansas City. … Ethier leads the National League with 38 RBIs. … The Dodgers have not been 16 games above .500 since 2009.
