Cardinals 8, Marlins 7 (10):
Rafael Furcal stroked a 10th-inning RBI double to put St. Louis ahead for good as the Cardinals rallied from a late five-run deficit to win their fourth straight.

Tyler Greene singled with one out in the 10th off Chad Gaudin (1-1) and scored on Furcal's big hit. Pitcher Joe Kelly's RBI single made it 8-6. The Marlins scored one in the bottom half on John Buck's RBI single, but Jason Motte closed it out for his 15th save.

Miami took a 6-2 lead into the ninth but Heath Bell could not hold it, allowing a two-run homer to catcher Yadier Molina to cap the tying rally.

The Cardinals have scored 38 runs during their win streak. Carlos Beltran reached base five times Monday, scoring twice.

Leadoff hitter Jose Reyes had a pair of RBI hits and Ricky Nolasco pitched 6 2/3 sterling innings for the Marlins, who lost for the 16th time in 19 games.

Nolasco, who had lost his last three starts, left with a 2-0 seventh-inning lead with the bases loaded and two outs. After a passed ball made it 2-1, Matt Holliday’s hard grounder toward first hit runner Shane Robinson to end the inning.

Hanley Ramirez and Giancarlo Stanton drew bases-loaded walks off Eduardo Sanchez to make it 4-1 Miami in the eighth.

Jake Westbrook again pitched well for St. Louis, allowing two runs on six hits over six innings.
