Carlos Pena homered for the second straight game and Wade Davis pitched into the eighth inning as the Tampa Bay Rays continued their home dominance of Toronto with a 6-2 win over the Blue Jays on Monday night.

The Rays broke out with five runs in the first three innings and cruised from there, beating the Jays at Tropicana Field for the 22nd time in their last 27 meetings there. Tampa has won three straight games, while Toronto has dropped two in a row.

Carl Crawford put Tampa on the board with a first-inning RBI double, and Pena extended the lead with a sacrifice fly that brought home Crawford. After Toronto answered with a run in the third, Pena responded in the bottom of the inning with a three-run blast to left field, his 26th of the season.

Davis (11-9) did the rest, limiting Toronto to two runs on six hits over 7 2/3 innings en route to his sixth straight victory.

Brett Cecil (11-7) took the loss, charged with five runs on five hits over seven innings. Just two of the runs were earned as the Blue Jays committed three errors in the game.

Aaron Hill added a fifth-inning solo home run for Toronto, his 20th of the season.
