Vladimir Guerrero haunted his former teammates with another homer and Rich Harden came off the disabled list to pitch seven solid innings as the Texas Rangers defeated the host Los Angeles Angels 2-1 on Saturday night.

Guerrero hit a two-run blast to left-center field in the fourth inning, his fifth homer of the season against the team he played for from 2004-09.

The homer was Guerrero’s 21st of the season and his fifth straight game with an RBI.

Harden (4-3) gave up one run and five hits in his first start since June 11. He struck out three and walked two.

The only run off Harden was a homer by Howie Kendrick in the seventh.

Frank Francisco struck out two Angels during a perfect eighth and Neftali Feliz pitched a perfect ninth for his 29th save.

Dan Haren (0-2) made his second start for Los Angeles since being acquired from Arizona. Haren went the distance and gave up two runs and five hits.
He struck out six and walked two.
