The third rally proved to be the charm for the Baltimore Orioles, as Julio Lugo singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 13th inning to lift Baltimore to an 11-10 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday at Camden Yards.

Baltimore scored two runs in the ninth off of Tampa Bay closer Rafael Soriano to tie the game at 9-9. The Rays scored a run in the 12th but the Orioles answered again to set up Lugo's heroics.

Koji Uehara (1-0) picked up the win. He allowed one hit and struck out two in the final 1 1/3 innings.

Soriano suffered his second blown save of the season for the Rays and Lance Cormier (3-2) took the loss, allowing a hit and a walk while recording one out in the 13th.

Luke Scott was the offensive hero for the Orioles as he hit two home runs and went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored.

Willy Aybar was 2-for-6 with three RBIs for Tampa Bay.
