Corey Patterson hit a game-tying grand slam in the ninth inning and Jake Fox had a solo home run in the 10th as the Baltimore Orioles rallied for a 7-6 win over the Texas Rangers on Friday.

It was the second consecutive come-from-behind win for the Orioles, who have earned at least a split of the four-game set as they seek their first road series victory of the season. Baltimore entered Texas having lost 14 straight series away from Camden Yards to open the season.

The Orioles trailed 6-2 entering the ninth, but loaded the bases against Texas closer Neftali Feliz. Patterson followed by launching a Feliz offering over the right-field wall for his first career grand slam.

One inning later, Fox ripped a Dustin Nippert pitch out of the park for his fifth home run of the year.

Patterson finished with four hits and five RBIs for the Orioles, who need wins Saturday and Sunday to avoid entering the All-Star break with 60 losses.

Jason Berken (2-1) earned the win with an inning of scoreless relief, while Alfredo Simon closed things out for his 12th save. Orioles starter Brian Matusz went just three innings, charged with four runs on six hits with four walks.

Nippert (3-4) took the loss.

On the same day the Rangers bolstered their starting staff by acquiring ace left-hander Cliff Lee from the Seattle Mariners, Scott Feldman made a strong case to remain in the rotation. The right-hander allowed two runs on eight hits, striking out two for his first victory in four starts.

Vladimir Guerrero, who will start at designated hitter for the American League in Tuesday's All-Star Game, swatted his 20th home run of the season to left field in the third inning. The three-run blast moved him into the major-league RBI lead with 75, one more than Detroit first baseman Miguel Cabrera.
